with the dipstick ! the mark up about 3 inch is max level
The level check for the hydraulics/transmission/rear axle is pipe plug on the left side of the tractor just in front of the rear axle housing. Oil is supposed to be at that level with all hydraulics extended.
The dipstick and fill plug are located in front of the gearshifts on the right hand side of the transmission.
You check the level with the dip stick on top of the trans one oit dose all you fill it under the drivers seat. This is not the engine oil of coarse I own a 1500

There should be a plug in the differential which faces towards the rear. The oil level should be about 1/4 inch from that opening when the plug is removed.

To check go to back of tractor just above and to the right of pto should be a red or off red dip stick that's your level indicator for your hyd. Oil
The oil tube on a 4610 Ford Tractor is located under the hood. There is an oil stick included to help check the level of the oil.
Under the seat is a dipstick simply unscrew it and check the level.
It should have eithert a view port or a dip stick style level indicator on hydraulic reservoir
on my ford 3600 there is a gauge like the one you have in your car near the gear lever on top of the transition body all you do is pull it out and the marking level if low just open the plug next to it with a shifter and top up and your are done
