Same place as you fill the front washer fluid. There is only one reservoir.

The recommended automatic transmission fluid for a 2000 Subaru Outback Legacy is Subaru ATF HP. This is a proprietary fluid which is sold by local dealerships.
There is only 1 reservoir with 2 pumps used for front & rear and contain about 1 gallon of fluid...
1999 Outback only has one tank for the front and back washer fluid. It has two pumps. The pump for the back windscreen is located higher than the one for the front so if the level gets low it reserves the rest of the fluid for the front windscreen. Fill it up and it'll work no problems. T
The second pump supplies the rear window. Do you hear a pump running when you turn the switch on for the windshield washer?
The manual specifies only Subaru fluid. If this is not available Dexron III can be used until Subaru fluid is available. Noise and hard shifting will be the result.

Under the hood, Drivers side strut tower just behind the washer fluid resevoir....should be 2 hoses going to it...1 in 1 out...
If the rear window washer isn't squirting, check the fluid container. If there is fluid, the motor may be shot.
