From 1982 - 1990 all of them came with 4bbl carbs rated at best a pitiful 140 hp and 255 lbs of torque - These engines are externally identical to an Olds 350 and are easily and commonly swapped out for the pre 1974 Olds 350 with the higher nickel content and the better heads which are rated at around 180 hp - 200 hp, stay away from 1977 and later engines.
