By any other name would smell as sweet.
Considering that humans are ,in fact ,animals it would make sense that human blood would have a similar smell to animal blood.Which we would find on our grocery and meat market shelves. The smell would be altered by diet,illness etc,but the fact remains blood smells ...well...like blood.
Probably near sugar or other sweet items.
Ants uses its antenna to smell the sweet. depend on the concentration it senses the sweetnessof the food

Out of an apple slice, cheese, and a cracker, they would find the apple slice faster because of it's sweet smell. So the cartoons that you watch/watched like Tom & Jerry, it's not true. Rat's find apples faster, not cheese.
Raccoons have an excellent sense of smell.
more then likely your heater core has a hole in it do you smell a sweet smell coming from the same area or see any anti-freeze if so you need to replace your heater core

yes all sharks have a sense of smell because a shark carnivores use them to find prey and other sharks use it to find whatever they eat (^^^)
