Dylan is found in the 6th book, Fang: a Maximum Ride novel, when the Flock takes a trip to Africa. Dylan has dark brown wings, turquoise eyes, dirty-blond (dark blond) hair, claims to be 8 months old, and is 'bulkier than Fang' because he probably has easier access to food. Also, Max teaches him to fly by pushing him off of a roof. Or so I've read. He is a clone from a Dylan that died in a automobile accident 8 months before. Doesn't really make sense, I know. The Voice inside Max's head tells her that Dylan is her "perfect other half". However in the earlier book, Max: a Maximum Ride novel, The Voice said that Fang is her "soul mate". Confusing? Yes. True? Also, yes. Max loves Fang and not Dylan. This is plain to see. Dylan sees it to and attempts suicide at the end of Fang: a Maximum Ride novel, but fails. Then, in Angel: a Maximum Ride novel, Max is told that she has to breed soon, preferably with Dylan. I don't have the 6th or 7th book but I have read all about them. So I hope Max ends up with Fang forever and not Dylan. He is too perfect. I would hate to be the one to break his heart though. Sorry Max.
