from experience the big one on intake (thermostat housing) goes to top of radiator. big one on water pump (pump out put) goes to bottom of radiator the nipple on intake goes to heater core top or bottom docent matter top preferably and their should be a nipple on water pump that goes to other nipple on heater core don't know why u need a diagram very simple

All V8 Chevrolet's are 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2 with 1,3,5,7 on the left bank and 2,4,6,8 on the right with the distributor rotating clockwise.
I am not certain what detail you are looking for but both my Chilton and Factory Service Manuals have the basic circuit diagram.
