the Mademoiselle sewing machine was made exclusively for Brothers Int. Corp in Japan. You should be able to find the operating manual by contacting the company at http://www.brother-usa.com/Manuals/Default.aspx where you can enter the model number of your machine for further information. I have also seen them for sale on ebay.
