The ERG valve is located on the front of the engine on a 1998 Chevy Blazer V6 4.3L. It is near the top bolted to the intake manifold.
There is no such thing, the right name is EGR valve which stands for Engine Gas Resurculation (bad speller) valve.

the egr valve is on the back of the engine about 3 inches round with a 5 wire connector going to it. It is right beside the breather tube going into the engine
