All but a few foreign vehicles have Fuel pumps located in the fuel tank these days. It's an electric motor driven pump and is only accessable after the tank is removed from the vehicle. Replacing a fuel pump is not an easy job for most home mechanics. Don't attempt it unless you are comfortable working around exposed gasoline which could be very dangerous if anything sparks.
