Drivers door.
There is a sticker on the drivers door. It will tell you.
Depends on the Engine, Transmission and Gear Ratio in the rear axle. I know that a 5.4L V8 w/ Auto trans and 3.73 gears = 15,000 GCWR. With 4.10 gears it is 17,000 GCWR. A V10 (6.8 Liter) w/ 3.73 = 17,000 GCWR, 4.10/4.30 gears = 20,000 GCWR. The diesel 7.3 Liter V8 is only offered with 3.73 gears and offers a GCWR of 20,000 lbs. Hope that helps.

Depends on the GVWR of the trailer, the GCWR of the entire combination, and its use.
Check this link for the definition. http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/rsa/html/XXI/259/259-38-a.htm. You can find that on your title of your van. It is basically the maximum weight plus the vehicles weight. this equals what your question is asking.
Vehicle weight information is on the drivers door tag.
According to the owners manual , a 1996 F150 / 5 speed manual transmission / 3.55 gear ratio can tow : regular cab / 2 wheel drive / GCWR 7800 lbs / trailer weight range ( 0 - 3600 lbs ) regular cab / 4 wheel drive / GCWR 7800 lbs / trailer weight range ( 0 - 3300 lbs ) super cab / 2 wheel drive / GCWR 7800 lbs / trailer weight range ( 0 - 3500 lbs ) super cab / 4 wheel drive / GCWR 7800 lbs / trailer weight range ( 0 - 3100 lbs ) maximum front area of trailer 60 square feet
The sticker on the cab rates the truck GCWR as 17,500 lbs. The GW of the vehicle is approximately 6,000 lbs.
GVWR of the trailer, GCWR of the combination of the two vehicles, and usage matter. We'd need to know this in order to ensure an accurate answer to this question.
