No one number- sorry. In SOME cases, the age can be determined from a serial number- IF the gun has a serial number- but they were not required on rifles until 1968. In the case of Marlin rifles, it may be a single letter prefix to the serial number. In the case of Remington rifles, it may be a 2 or 3 letter code stamped on the left side of the barrel where it joins the frame.
That will depend on the make of the rifle and the age of your pump rifle.
You will have to call TC to find out.
winchester i have no clue on the date
Call Browning with the serial number.
Unfortunately I can't tell you the age by the serial number. State the model number, that will help identify it's age.
Find a source with sn data for that maker and look it up.
Get the serial number off it and go to Browning's website.
Record the serial number then contact the company. Using the serial number they can tell you the year it was made.
You can't unless sn data has been published in a book.
You must tell us what it is (pistol, shotgun, rifle) and all markings.
To find out the age you would need the serial number of the rifle. They were made in the 1950's and 1960's. They generally price for $100 to $150.
By comparing the serial number to published charts. sales@countrygunsmith.net
