the oil filter removal for the 2001 saturn l200 is the easiest ive dealt with, by far. it is close to the front just behind the fan. it's to the left of the battery, all the way close to the front. you can buy a socket that is sized to fit it perfectly. with my ratchet set, i by chance had one. it is submerged, so all youll see if the top (eight sided, hard plastic) that sits on a dome. the top of it is single unit construction, and you just unscrew it.
also with this model, you dont have to worry about alignments, and you never have to worry about checking the Transmission Fluid. it's a well built car.
I could not find price for removal and install, but the motor is $1699.99.
There is a diagram printed on the underside of the fuse box top.
The fuel filter is located on the underbody at the forward edge of the left-side of the fuel tank.
its on the back of the engine above the right axle
The fuse box on a 2002 I200 Saturn is located between the steering column and floor. It is position to the left of the driver, near the hood release.
You can find a diagram at an auto parts store like NAPA or Advanced. You can also go to the library to find this. You could also call Saturn customer service and they would help you with one.
Standing in front of the car looking at the engine block you will see an aluminum housing with a large black plastic nut on top of it, the oils filter is within this housing. This is a replaceable element filter not a canister filter like you would find on other conventional vehicles.
The blower motor is located under the windshield cowl. You will need to remove the wiper blades, the plastic cowl assembly. Careful with the cowl, they break easily. There is plastic cover to to the right of the cabin air filter. Under that cover you'll find the blower motor. Saturn tech here by the way.
That's easy, On the factory radio you will find embossed on the face the word time, next to the "recall" button, if you hold this button down while pressing the "up" buttom it will change the hours "down button" will change the minutes.
Clogged 2001 Saturn AC drainAfter talking to a Saturn mechanic I found it. It's centered and is about 18"-24" down from the top of the firewall. He told me there was a small balloon at the end and usually they cut of off with a pair of dykes and then clear it. The best way to get to it is from under the car but it can be accessed from the top from the passenger side. Mine didn't have the balloon at the end but it was full of crud. After I cleaned it out it probably drained a pint of water.
Pull the transmission oil pan and the filter should be inside.
go to auto parts store and get the right filter for the Saturn then go to the filter wrench selection and find one that fits that is the style you like
