Where do you find the transmission fluid stick in your 1996 Chevy Lumina Minivan to check the fluid level?

I found a transmission dip stick on the top right of the engine - up under the hood between the firewall and the engine - you need good light and I've yet to figure out how to fill the fluid, since the dipstick is horizontal and normally it's how you fill the fluid.
So, we're a step closer.
