Where do you get a cannon on Skullduggery Island?

The cannons on your ship aim with the cursor and fire with your mouse button.

The cannons at the Pirate Outpost require the Cannon Starter Kit, which is atop the mainmast at upper left. Swim right, then follow the signs up and right to the Cannonry. Climb on the roof and jump left to find the Starter Kit.

Below the Starter kit is a small barrel of explosives. If you shove this left, and into the water, you can place it under the Golden Tooth of the stone skull. Firing the cannon at left explodes the barrel, and reveals the map piece hidden under the Golden Tooth.

When you have a ship with cannons, you fire by aiming your mouse cursor and clicking.

For the cannons at the Pirate Outpost, you need the Cannon Starter Kit (fuses) at the top of the mast at upper left. Climb up from the left, cross the stone skull, and climb the roof of the Cannonry. Jump left to reach the mast.

(*Below the kit is a small barrel of explosives. If it is placed in the water under the giant skull's Golden Tooth, a shot by the left cannon could set it off, revealing the map piece.)

To fire the cannons at the Pirate Outpost, you need the Cannon Starter Kit (fuses), which is at the top of the main mast. Climb up from the cannon at the lower left of the skull, jumping over the pirate, and onto the roof of the Cannonry at upper right. To the left is the Jolly Roger flag, and beneath it is the Cannon Starter Kit.

On the way back down, shove the small barrel of explosives off the mast, to the left, then down into the water. Placing it under the Golden Tooth, then shooting it, will reveal the hidden map piece.

You get cannon as part of the larger ships for sale at Dragon Cove. By salvage, trading, or battle, accumulate the doubloons you need for each ship. You can also make loans (one at a time) from the Golden Harbor bank to increase your capital for buying cargo or ships.

Increasing numbers of cannon are part of the larger ships that you can buy with doubloons at Dragon Cove. The ships can also sail slightly faster and have much more cargo space.

Defeating pirate ships and sea creatures is one way to earn doubloons quickly, rather than just trading. Salvage from defeated ships and creatures is usually substantial.

The cannoneer is in the Corsair Cannonry shop at the top right of the Pirate Outpost. He is a skilled crewman who increases the rate at which you can fire your ship's cannons (you can fire again before the first shots land). The cannoneer has a one-time salary cost of 20,000 doubloons.

You get cannons on larger ships that you can buy at the shipbuilder at Dragon Cove. The least expensive ship is 3000 doubloons. You can buy larger ships as you increase the amount of salvage you collect.

The cannoneer works at the cannon shop above the Pirate Outpost. You can hire him on for 20,000 doubloons, and he will make your cannons reload faster.
