You get the Fire Stone in the very beginning (then again it's an option..) When you first enter the Parts Shop in Gateon Port. Lol, Talk to the Sailor that rambles on and on about "stones" Then you get a choice of which stone you want, choose wisely though. I picked the Thunderstone and REGRETTED it because later on you capture a shadow Vulpix that apparently needs a Fire Stone in order to evolve. Lame, I know.
