Kinda, you get Halo Reach, but you are limited to playing the Anniversary Map Pack. All game modes are on except Campaign and you only play Maps from the Add On.

well, at halo maps.org you can get halo custom edition for free. it's the same thing, but without campaign mode. if that bothers you, then download a campaign pack for hce. i have the cmt halo 3 campaign, although there are heaps. plus, you can get custom maps for it.

Yes, it just came out. It is called the Anniversary map pack and has 5 maps from Halo Combat Evolved. The maps are Ridgeline, High Noon, Penance, Breakneck, Solitary, and Battle Canyon. There is also a firefight map from Halo CE's campaign called Installation 04. The map pack costs 1,200 Microsoft Points but is really worth it. You can also get the map pack also by buying a NEW copy of Halo CE Anniversary which is $40. If you buy Halo CE Anniversary used there is a low chance of getting an unused code for the map pack.

Halo two map pack is simply an expansion set for halo two. Giving you new maps and content, it isn't a playable game. So in other words no, you have to have halo 2 to play halo 2.
Does Halo Combat Evolved anniversery come with all of the halo reach maps?
No. Anniversary only comes with the six new matchmaking maps and the new firefight map. You only have access to those maps on the Anniversary disc. The only way to play both the Reach maps and the Anniversary maps is to buy the map pack for Anniversary or buy the game and use the code inside the case to upload the Anniversary maps to your hard drive for your Reach disc to access.
