Where do you get oil on wild west island?

You use it on the rusted clock in the clock tower. If you go to the tower, head inside. Then walk on the wood and cut the ropes attached to the beams. Next, you will come upon a rusted gear. Click on it. It will tell you to use the can to oil the gears, but don't use it on all of them, you just need to put it on the MIDDLE GEARS!!!! You will then be able to ride the train because the gears are working.

1.Go to the clock tower.

2.Enter the clock tower (near the top).

3.Jump from wood stack to wood stack (some pieces may be loose).

4.Once you jump to the machine, click on it.

5.Pick a line of machines that connect to the two big silver ones.

6.Oil each one until they sparkle.

7.Once the two big silver machines are spinning, the clock will work.

You have to find the girls cattle, then put it in the ranch and she will give you a sattle. Go back to Dusty Goltch and go inside the trade store and trade the sattle for oil or the golden pan. you can pick either one because if you get the golden pan you can trade it back for the oil or if you get the oil you can trade it back for the golden pan.

You will swap for it at the Trading Post in Dusty Gulch. Once you have a saddle to trade, you can get the gold pan or the oil can. Once you use either one, go back and swap for the other one.

To get a saddle, go to Rock Ridge and catch the lost calf for the cowgirl at the left side of town. Follow the tracks that lead left, then chase the calf and lasso it (throw rope when it is pointing at the calf). Lead it into the corral then go back to Rock Ridge to collect your reward. (If the calf gets away, go back into Rock Ridge and leave again, and the set of hoof prints will appear again as you leave.)

If you lasso the other cattle, you get a costume reward, the Rattlesnake Wrangler.
