What are soulgems in morrowind for?
Enchanting items, or recharging enchanting items. You can use them yourself, or pay some mages to do it for you. Usually the better the soulgem the more charge it has. Grand soulgems are the best. also a cheat is, hit the "~" button in the upper left hand of the key board and type: "TGM", then click ENTER and you are completely invincible.

her soulgem isnt in treetop terrace its in falling forest to find it one you destroyed the first rocket make your way down, smash through a fence and walk up along it. After killing the three enemies out in the open another group will burst through the fence to the north, and once those are dead the Monster gate will open. There's a rotating blade next, step onto the bounce pad here to reach a Soul Gem for stealth elf
