Go to the sewers via the temple district. Once you're inside head as as far north as you can, and you will see a hidden door (It should show up purple) go through it, and head up the stairs. In this area, there will be a few rooms full of enemies (4 rooms I think) none are very difficult to kill, dispose of them and in the final room search the 'pod' in the center of the room, you'll get a letter, the hammer, and a wand as well as some other miscellanious items. Enjoy.
