You can get the rotten fish to use as bait for the kappa just the next part of the island east of the bridge, there will be some stairs and a rotten fish click on it and it will be added to your inventory then take it to the man and he'll say "oh great you have bait! now try catching the Kappa" then it will take you to the marsh like place and then you click the boulder to move it over the cave-like hole then click the fire then click the frog to where the bubbles under one of the lily pads are oh and then aim the beehive towards the hole in the tree and click, that will send them to the tree blocking the entrance. after click the fish and it will go on top of the net and the "kappa will be caught in the net. i really hope this helped and good luck with that level if you haven't finished it yet. :P
