No. Bettas are freshwater fish. Seahorses are saltwater.
A saltwater fish tank can be half freshwater and all of the saltwater fish will live but not for very long.
uhhh.. yeh buddy
Saltwater salt, makes it saltwater, for the saltwater fish to survive. Freshwater salt is added to help gill function, reduce stress, combat some health issues and improve water conditions.
Remove the sick fish..... the fish that has the ich should be put in a hospital tank then treated for ich, corals do not get ich, only the fish, so a ten gallon tank with a aerator would be ideal for a hospital tank....
You can not. You should not put anything into your aquarium that you have found in the ocean. There are different bacteria and parasites in the ocean than found in your tank. In addition, the differences in PH balance and salinity are far greater. Plus the pressure of the water will different from the ocean to your tank. You not only risk the fish dying, but potentially killing off everything in your tank. There are quite a few beautiful species of reef fish available at your local saltwater fish store. Many are quite affordable and the expert at these stores can give you directions on how to acclimate your new fish.
No. Not in the traditional definition of the tropical tank. A tropical tank is a freshwater aquarium. Regal Tangs are saltwater fish and go in a saltwater tank (marine aquarium).
Certain freshwater fish can survive saltwater conditions; examples are black mollies, mono's and scats. All of these fish aren't truly freshwater or saltwater, they are Brackish. Brackish is between freshwater and saltwater, and so these fish are highly adaptable.
i think you would need a medium tank for your fish.
no its not okay
Well, there are 2 types of fish, saltwater fish, and freshwater fish. Only put in saltwater if you own a saltwater fish. Note: Saltwater fish could live safely in freshwater, but freshwater fish will suffocate in saltwater.
