Go to a basement or cellar. If you do not have one go to an interior room or hallway on the lowest floor. Stay away from windows. And if you're in a car or mobile home during a tornado, immediately leave, and try to find a shallow ditch or something. Then crouch down low and make yourself a smaller target and cover your head with your arms or hands, etc. When you find the ditch or something, make sure it isn't near any trees or something so if they go airborne, you won't end up getting seriously injured or maybe even killed.
If a tornado passes by, you go to a safe spot in your house like a basement, but if you do not have a basement, you go in your washroom because your washroom has walls around it and the walls stay attached to the floor of your house. You could also go in your in ground cellar. [If you have a in ground cellar!] The in ground cellar is under ground and it is more safer than a washroom but, in any words, it is under the ground and tornadoes can not go all the way into the ground, they stay on the surface. So you are safe in your basement, your washroom, or your in ground cellar. Hope this was a little bit helpful. :D

You should not even need to go outside during a tornado. Let's say you forgot something outside and a tornado is there. Should you go out? NO! Because it is very scary to go outside during a tornado. But you should gather your family together, and then go in a basement or closet. Try to keep safe.

Absolutely. A tornado usually follows the path of the storm in which it results. So, if a storm is going south, the tornado has a high priority of going south. It is also possible for a tornado to go in a different direction than the storm in which it forms. For example, if a storm is headed west, a tornado could develop and go north. Hope this is helpful.
