With an OBD2 code reader
With an OBD2 code reader
EGR Valve
you can use the yellow obdII cable.
can be done by code reader only
First you must determine what the fault code is. Obtain an OBDII code reader. These can be purchased from most auto parts stores, some will even run this for free. Correct the problem then using the OBDII reader erase the fault code.
Depends on what type code reader you have. OBD2 is pretty universal, but not compatible with Diesels until after 2004. Petrols came compliant earlier, in about 2001. The code reader that does work with all the Citroen C3 HDi cars is Actia with Diagbox or Lexia 3.
According to my handbook that came with my fault code reader, the P0325 fault code indicates a problem with the knock sensor.
the on board computer has found an error with the vehicle. it may need a simple tune up or more try unplugging the battery for ten minutes. that should clear the code then if it comes back on take it to a Volvo dealer or someone with a code reader for that vehicle.
you must use an ODB-2 code reader/ code eraser. You first should read the code or codes and write them down. These tell you what is wrong with the car. (such as code p0401, which is the common air pump failure code)You can get a cheapo reader/clearer at harbor freight for about $25 or a decent one for about $75-100.
No obd2 requires a code reader or scanner.
The same OBD II reader that gave you the Oxygen Sensor code can be used to clear that code. Repair the sensor first (or the light will just come back on) then plug in the reader and press the "clear code" button. You'll be good to go. If you don't have a reader and someone else found the fault code for you, just roll by any auto supply store that offers free use of a reader (most major outlets). Plug it in and clear the code.
