It does not use brake fluid. It uses TCH hydrulic fluid. Brake fluid will swell the origs in the brake piston and either lock them up or leak into the trans axle causeing damage to the transaxles.
The manual says 8 quarts or 7.6 liters of case TCH fluid ,you can use Hy-tran Ultra hydraulic fluid. I use the hydraulic transmission fluid from tractor supply and have no problems.
Look for a hinged panel between the loader uprights. That is where the hydraulic reservoir fill port is located. Lift the hood for better access.
