If you have an S1 (old shape) 106 the fuse box should be down to the right of the steering wheel behind a panel that should just pull off. Youl see a small handle to grab it.
If you have an S2 (new Shape) the fuse box is under the bonnet just above the battery. You should see a small black box. There is a catch on the front that comes off to open it.

The fuse for the petro gauge can be found in the fuse box. The fuse will be labeled as the instrument panel fuse.

On the peugeot 106 there is an oil cap on the top of the engine, note don't forget to check the level after you have put some in otherwise you could over fill it. HKP

It will be fuse number F30 with a rating of 15 A. There is a diagram in the owner's manual listing what each fuse is for, and where it is located.
