Reece Linneman The two stroke oil is placed in the smaller tank under the seat at the back, the lid should have OIL writtien on it. Apparently from research of other sites it has to be direct injection two stroke oil.
Please can you provide me with the type of motor oil used in a Suzuki JR50 and how much do you put in the engine
The fuel to oil ratio, for a 1988 model Suzuki outboard is 50:1, roughly 1 pint of 2 cycle oil, to six gallons of fuel.
The 1979 model, 2 cycle Suzuki outboards require a 50:1 ratio, one pint of 2 cycle oil to six gallons of fuel.
i have a 89 DT 15hp Suzuki with a oil injector that is leaking and no longer working. we use a 50:1 mixture and have had no problems with it running right. strong little motor!!
no it isnt it is a 4 stoke engine
50:1, I usually put 400mL into a 20L jerry can.
suzuki drz125s top out at about 50-60mph
20w/40
Suzuki recommends the use of SUKUZI PERFORMANCE 4 MOTOR OIL, or an oil which is rated SF or SG under the API classification system. The viscosity should be SAE 10w-40 if a 10w-40 isn't avalible 10w-30, 10w-50, 15w40, 15w-50, 20w-50 can be used depending on the temprature. I would stick to 10/15w 40/50 to be safe.
50:1
50:1
Mercury has made the 50 in both 2 cycle and 4 cycle. If it is oil injected and there is no oil that you change and no oil filter it is a 2 cycle engine where the oil is mixed with the gasoline.
