you just put a ''jack'' jack!
Depends on the make and model of the car.
You will have to jack it up or put it on a lift.
It depends how you want to lift it, physically possible but hard, but you can buy a jack and put some suspenders under the truck and lower the jack, the suspenders will keep the truck lifted.
Should be a screw at the side of the jack body Make sure piston is in collapsed position and fill with hydraulic jack oil to this level
You must properly block wheels that are not being lifted. Use a jack to lift, and a jack stand to secure. Use common sense (make sure vehicle is on level surface, don't put body parts under, etc.).
The VW Beetle has 2 jack points, one on each side to the rear of the front door. The body/pan assembly is ridged enough that this single jack point will lift the entire side of the car. If your car is tatty, or does not have a jack point installed, place a floor jack under the front bulkhead of the car, and raise the entire front end.
Open the rear door of the vehicle and lift up the carpet (there are tabs you can lift and put your fingers under). You will see the tool kit in a plastic tray. In the center of the tray is a large plastic headed screw. Remove this and lift out the kit. The jack is underneath secured with another plastic headed screw.
You need to place the floor jack under the actual beam of the car frame. This is where 2 jacks may have to be put into play. You will need to jack up the car high enough to be able to release the old shocks from their bases. You may have to put a jack on blocks to jack the car high enough to achieve this. Put your stands on very stable blocks under the frame as well.
no you dont need a lift kitt to put 20s on a caprice you can put 22s on it without a lift kitt
First you must lift the car using a jack or lift. Then remove the wheel. The brakes is behind it and is held on with nuts and bolts. Remove these and simply put a new brake one.
