The engine oil is put in through the oil cap on the engine , it's on the passenger side valve cover , on an extension pipe , that is just behind the top radiator hose
5W-30 is the preferred oil ( that's what I've used in my 1995 Ford Explorer since 1995 )
The automatic transmission used in the 1995 Ford Explorer is a ( 4R55E )
If it fits it should work
According to motorcraft . com , the automatic transmission in a 1995 Ford Explorer only is used on the 1995 and 1996 models , so no
5 quarts
SAE 10w30
According to the 1999 Ford Explorer Owner Guide ( 5W-30 ) is used in all the engines
5 quarts of oil. ( with filter change )
You go find one and put it in.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but as far as I know the answer would be ( NO ) On the Ford Explorer , from what I've read , there were ( 3 ) different engine blocks for the 4.0 liter OHV engine ( 1991 to 1994 Ford Explorers ) ( 1995 and 1996 Ford Explorers ) ( 1997 to 2000 Ford Explorers )
That all depends on what size engine an what year
Yes.
