If you are really in love with your Zippo you are most likely only in love with the outer case, seeing as how the insides are the same. A new Zippo will cost you roughly $15 (median) and you can just take the guts from the new one and insert them into your old case. In summary, sending in your Zippo is a waste of time.

However, it is much more likely that your zippo needs a new flint/wick or fuel, that it being broken, they are pretty much unbreakable!
