Must goes before the main verb - You must go to school now.

Must does not change its form - no past form

Must can be negative - must not / mustn't

Must is not followed by to - must to go home

Must means obligation, it is important or essential to do something - you must eat to live.

Must not /mustn't is negative obligation - you mustn't phone me at night.

Must also means deduction ie I am certain something is true, we use it when we don't know but have plenty of evidence that it is.

eg That house is very old ( I know this). That house must be very old. ( I don't know but the house looks old.)

Must is stronger than should, both have similar meanings of obligation and deduction but must is stronger
