A company called Murphy handles Wal Mart gas stations. They get the gas from the same tank farms that every other station gets gas from. Here's the catch Shell gas is a specific formula so is BP Citgo etc. The additives for that formula are mixed as the tankers are being loaded giving it given quality. You can get a load of "Wal Mart" gas from the same place you get Shell, Citgo, ect you just don't get the same formula of additives added in as the truck is loaded. It is truly cheaper gas so you can expect your gas mileage to suffer.
