A Perch is a type of fish.
A perch.
The plural of perch, when referring to a bird's perch, is perches. The plural of perch, when referring to the fish, remains perch.
"The perch was perfect for a nice bird".
The little Bird will perch on a window sill
No, bird houses do not require a perch for birds to use. Perches are not necessary for birds to enter or use a bird house.
Perch? A fish? Plural would be Perch I believe. It would be plural from the sentence it is used in. I caught a Perch. I caught a few Perch. Perch as in a resting place for a bird I believe it would be perches.

Perch
* perch (a type of fish) * finch (a type of bird) * nuthatch (a type of bird)
It depends entirely on what type of bird it is. Some birds perch right on the grass and some live on cliffs with no grass in sight, it really depends what the bird needs.
