In the movie it portrays Brits taking sheep way too seriously in a place that doesn't seem to be cold on Christmas. Sounds like it takes place in the Southern Hemisphere where Christmas would occur during the summer months. Obvious choices would be New Zealand or Australia, less obviously would be the Falkland Islands. The Falkland Islands would fit perfectly, while I know that there must be areas in either Australia or New Zealand that fit the bill perfectly as well.
