In the fallopian tubes of a female's reproductive system
An immature egg (oocyte) is ejected from the ovaries through ovulation and is picked up by the fimbriae. The oocyte will enter the uterine tubes through the infundibulum and be pushed through by ciliated cells. The uterine tubes curve in an area called the ampulla, which is where fertilization takes place and a oocyte becomes a zygote.
A zygote.
It's...A sperm cell and an egg cell combine to form a zygote, which lateron develops into an embryo.
Two gametes join together during fertilization to form a zygote.
The result is a fertilized egg called a zygote :]
Faulty Condom? ---------------------------------------------------------------- I don't really want to delete an answer so..... It's called a zygote.
Fertilization is union of male and female gametes to form a zygote
the process is called fertilisation and these gametes fuse and form a zygote
Zygote
When gametes join, they form a zygote.
fertilization
In sexual reproduction, fertilization results in a zygote (cell) containing material from the two gametes. The zygote will divide to form new cells that establish the blastocyst stage, and in some organisms will form an embryo.
When male and female gametes unite to form the zygote, it is called fertilization. In flowering plants it is followed by pollination and pollen germination.
