I am getting rid of it now though. I hope.
I went to start, run, typed in regedit, pressed ctrl F, typed in Green Av deleted everything in the folder, deleted the folder, ran an anti-virus software, deleted all cookies and restart computer.

its an antivirus program which protects your computer and could come in variuos suites including firwall anti-malware
Simply uninstall it.
It is DEFINITELY a scam. The program is mal-ware. To remove this "Antivirus 2009 scam" program, use the following website and download the mbam-setup.exe program. It will clean off your system when most anti-virus software won't. http://www.malwarebytes.org/ The opinion of Wolf_Soldier: Antivirus 2009 is Malware, it is also considered to be a rogue antivirus, which means that it has been created by an untrusted source. Antivirus 2009 is bad news, when it scans your machine it gives you false virus alerts, conning the user into paying for a useless Antivirus package, it also disables the uninstall fuction, which removes it.
WikiAnswers website does not sell antivirus programs, so you did NOT buy it here.
This may be because you have the secruity settings too high on your Anti-Virus program.
avast is helaa good
Antivirus software can be defined as a program that works to detect and remove harmful viruses from a computer. Antivirus software combats computer crime by shielding one's personal information and essentially their identity, online.
Some viruses are able to turn protection off. Use another antivirus program to check your computer. If you are sure that everything ok try to uninstall the antivirus and install again. If it didn't help call support if you paid for antivirus. Or it the antivirus is free pick another one.

Run an antivirus program to help you protect your computer against latest virus or spyware at real-time.
What you do is turn off your internet before turning your computer on. Then, once you have logged in, System Antivirus will pop up, but if you look down at where it says "System Antivirus 2008" there should also be something that says "Error." Move System Antivirus 2008 and it should say details but it should say something like this: "C: Program Files:SAV:sav.exe. Click onto My Computer, click on the file that has (C at the end, click onto Program Files, and find SAV. Open up SAV and delete everything except for sav.exe, then try delete the folder. If it doesn't work, keep trying to delete sav.exe or the folder. This should stop System Antivirus from popping up but, as System Antivirus may still be on your control panel, it is like System Antivirus doesn't exist.
