What material comes in to the chloroplast that is used in the Calvin cycle?

The materials that are needed in the Calvin Cycle are ATP (Adenosine TriPhospate) and Carbon Dioxide

What is the primary function of the Calvin cycle?

It uses CO2 and energy from ATP that are used to form sugar.

Where does the ATP energy come from for the Calvin cycle?

The light reaction

What is the Calvin cycle?

The Calvin cycle is the dark reaction in plants, that results in formation of the glucose molecule. The Calvin Cycle synthesizes G3P Basically, Photosynthesis is divided up into the Light reactions and the Calvin Cycle. The "photo" part is the light reaction part, and the "synthesis" is the Calvin Cycle. The Calvin Cycle's whole existence is to produce sugar. It does this with incorporating CO2 to eventually produce G3P, a sugar that can go on to make glucose etc... The Calvin cycle is powered by NADPH and ATP, which come from the light reactions. Of course this is a simplified version, as there are a number of intermediate molecules, but the idea is the same. For more info I would recommend reading Campbell and Reece (6th ed, 2005)

Where did the first carbon come from in the Krebs cycle?

If by "first carbon" you mean the first CO2 released in the cycle then the answer is, from OAA. NOT from acetyl CoA.

Where do extra ATP molecules come from in the Calvin Cycle?

ATPand NADP are formed during light reaction.i.e.,during cyclic photophosphorylation.

Where does most of the air huumans breath come from?

They come from plants. It is a cycle. (Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen Cycle) When you breathe out you realse Carbon Dioxide and the plants sucks it in and relase oxygen and that is what we breathe in.

Where does the carbon dioxde used by plants come from?

Humans inhale oxygen, and breath out carbon dioxide. It is like a cycle.

What substances come from the outside of photosynthesis?

sunlight is the substance that comes in from the outside

Where does the majority of the mass of a plant come from?

believe it or not it actually comes from carbon dioxide. the carbon molecules from the carbon dioxide are fixed in the plant in part of photosynthesis called the Calvin cycle. If you want to see this for yourself there is actually a video online as well asking the same questions to Harvard grads and watching their reactions when they learn the truth. What is the role of atp sythase in photosynthesis?

The hydrogen ions pumped across the innermembrane into the thylacoid space fall down the electrochemical gradient through the ATP synthase where ADP is phosphorylated into ATP which is then used in the Calvin cycle rearrangements of carbon fixed intermediates to produce the gyceraldehyde-3-phosphate sugar the plants need. Simplified explanation.

Does Calvin Klein's black dress come in plus sizes?

Yes Calvin Klein does have plus sizes.
