After you finish answering a question and you press "Save," your answer becomes part of WikiAnswers. If anyone asks that question or uses keywords in the question, your answer will appear.
If you mean on WikiAnswers, no, they are not an answer on WikiAnswers. If a person has absolutely no information to put in an answer, they should go to another question that they can answer or at least partially answer. Answering a question even with "I don't know" makes that question appear to be answered on WikiAnswers, which means it is less likely to BE answered, because people will think it already has been.

You can look in your contributions - and click on your question's page to see if has been answered.
WikiAnswers is set up to recognize duplicate questions, but if there's even one word different, both questions will appear. A WikiAnswers Supervisor will usually catch this and combine the answers, eventually.

You just have to click on questions that have been answered and they will appear. If you have a specific question you can ask it and hopefully a member of the community will answer it as quickly as possible!
