under the mat where your feet go there is a cover that comes off.
The battery in a sunl 150cc scooter is under the foot mat (remove 2 screws and fold mat back toward seat) in a rectangular compartment (right hand/throttle side). Remove 2 or 4 screws and remove compartment cover to reveal the battery. kimbacat
The scooter has a battery, but it needs charging. Go to MacGuffin's and get one of the new devices that is supposed to quickly charge things.

The battery from a the scooter can be removed. This would still allow the scooter to retain movement while keeping its top speed relatively low.
what is the external battery charger used for with my meteor scooter by invacare
Two things which can commonly cause this to happen are: 1) Battery - go to any local battery place and they will test your battery 2) Dirty carburetor - this is most commonly a problem if you have old gas sitting in the scooter over the winter. Go to a scooter/motorcycle mechanic and get the carburetor cleaned The good news is that both these remedies should cost less than $100

I use an electric scooter when I don't have to go that far, It is a 48volt, 500 watt, max speed 17mph scooter that goes 36 miles before the battery dies. I have a gas Suzuki Burgman 650 that I use when I have to go on the freeway and across town.
