The charm holder pin goes on the vest on the girl's right, under the "Bridge to" Award patches.
Note: the STUDIO2B program has been discontinued, however, if a Girl Scout earned any charms, she may still wear them on her vest or sash.

The Girl Scout sash is designed to lay on the right shoulder, go around the body, with the bottom of the sash on the left side of the body. The Girl Scout vest is designed so that it is worn by inserting both arms with an opening on the front. Placement of the insignia and awards is different on each. When wearing the Girl Scout sash, the pin tab with the membership pin and the WAGGGS pin is worn on the left side of the shirt rather than being on the sash. The Early Bird patch is not an official Girl Scout insignia, so it should be placed on the back of the Girl Scout sash or vest.
The "You Are Registered" patch is not an official Girl Scout insignia, so it goes on the back of the sash or vest.
Girl Scouts of Hawaii are part of Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA). Their uniforms are that same uniforms that members of GSUSA wear. Girl Scout Daisies wear a blue tunic or vest with blue shorts, pants or skirt and a white shirt. Girl Scout Brownies wear a brown vest or sash with a white or blue shirt and brown skort or pants. Girl Scout Juniors wear a green vest or sash with a whit shirt and khaki pants, shorts, or skirt. Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors wear a khaki vest or sash with a white shirt and khaki skirt, shorts or pants.
The Bridge to Cadette Girl Scout Award is placed directly under the Brownie Wings on a Cadette sash or vest.
Girl Scout Brownie members of Girl Scouts of the USA have a Girl Scout Brownie uniform to wear. The uniform includes a white polo shirt or a blue short sleeve shirt; a brown skirt, skort, pants, or shorts; and a brown vest or sash.
Girl Scouts of the USA do not have red vests. Other Girl Guide or Girl Scout organizations around the world choose the colors of their uniforms. Not all Girl Guides or Girl Scouts wear vests or sashes. Many wear shirts. Others wear dresses or skirts and blouses. Some of them have chosen the color red for their uniforms, but it may not be a vest that is red.
One the Cadette Girl Scout vest, the Bronze Award pin is worn to the right of the insignia tab. On the Cadette Girl Scout Sash, the Bronze Award pin is worn to the left of the Troop Numerals.
For Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA), the earned badges go on the front of the vest, underneath any other earned insignia. It is a good idea to start attaching the badges at the bottom of the vest. Any fun patches received go on the back of the vest. Other Girl Guide and Girl Scout organizations may have different guidelines for badge placement.
On the Girl Scout Junior sash, the Sign of the Star goes directly below the Brownie Wings. On the vest, the Sign of the Star goes directly below the membership tab on the left side of the vest.
For the past decade, the uniform components have been manufactured by Jackie Evans, Inc., a company in New Jersey. Girl Scouts of the USA recently (November 2010) requested bids for making the Girl Scout uniforms, including vest and sashes.
