yes you do
The brake light switch on a Nissan is located just behind the brake pedal. It sends a signal to the brake lights when the pedal is pressed to turn them on.
The AT check signal light means that there is something is wrong with the transmission. A slipping transmission can be the cause of this.
it will be either be a- fuse blown b- bulbs blown c- faulty wiring
Could be the knock sensor.

All you need is a Phillips screwdriver. Under the hood by the driver's side headlight is a Phillips head screw. unscrew it and gently pull the corner light straight out. Then unplug it.

Remove the turn signal light bulb connector. Take hold of the light bulb, push in and turn at the same time, to remove the light bulb. Reverse the process to install the new light bulb.
Unplug the battery for a night, resets the whole car. However and do need to ask why you want to reset the engine light? Another answer is to buy the $100 computer readers from Advanded Auto Parts. GIEL.
