Probably the trany cooler in the rad has let go. If this is the case then the coolant is in the trany also. check the trany for coolant and if it is you will need a trany very soon. I've tried flushing the trany when this has happened in the past and have yet to save a trany. Usually within 3-6 week the trany stops working.
trany pan is the oil reservoir for the trany. Also provides access to the filter, valve body & trany internal components

Possibly from the trany cooler located in the lower rad tank. This will destroy a trany in a short period of time if coolant gets in the trany
to change oil pan on a crown vic you have to remove trany and raise the engine
no oil in the tranny will cause the bands to streatch and will only allow your trany to work in revers
Trany is short for transmission.
The plug is in the front of the transmission. Get a funnel and fill it up until oil comes out.
found it - thought this was the trany dipstick - fluid looks red.
on a 95 aspire 1.3L it takes 4 qts of motor oil and 6qts of trany fluid dex 3

Trany & power steering? GET IT OUT ASAP!!!!!!! It will distort the seals and destroy both parts as well as the Rack & pinion(if so equipped). Try flushing it out, drain the oil and put new oil in several times as well a pulling off a return line and filling the trany or power steering as it comes out the return line. You will need lots of fluid & keep your fingers crossed that it will be o/k. Don't forget to replace the trany filter also.
