I've been stumped on this question for days now, this is a very hard answer especially if you want it to have a good outcome as to how they became prejudice and why? IDK any answers?
Its bias becuase unbias means your not prejudiced on the subject
bias
A person who is bias against people of other ethnic groups or races is prejudiced.
The term for this is bias. Bias can influence how information is presented, leading to a skewed or unfair portrayal of a topic. It is important to be aware of bias in order to critically evaluate sources of information.
As individual private citizens. police officers can have political affiliations, that is their right under the Constitution. However, when on duty, or in uniform, they may not express their political views or affiliation, as that tends to give the appearance that they, in fact, not be impartial. Law enforcement officers are held to enforce the law regardless of bias, partiality, or political persuasion.
Police favoritism refers to a situation where law enforcement officers show partiality or preferential treatment towards certain individuals, groups, or communities. It can manifest in various forms, such as leniency towards friends or acquaintances, bias based on race or social status, or ignoring wrongdoing committed by fellow officers. Police favoritism undermines trust in law enforcement and contributes to disparities in the criminal justice system.
Bias means something similar to prejudiced. Basically someone who judges someone based on own preference. Here is an example. "Dad you are so biased toward blacks and gays!"
Following the Rodney King case, several police officers involved in his beating were charged with criminal offenses and faced trial. The acquittal of these officers led to widespread public outrage and protests, ultimately leading to the Los Angeles riots in 1992. The case drew attention to issues of police brutality and racial bias, resulting in increased scrutiny of law enforcement practices and efforts to improve police-community relations.
I did not perceive any bias within the cartoon 'A Hare Grows in Manhattan' at all . It was a typical Bugs Bunny cartoon .
Everyone has Biases. However, subtle bias is where a person may not have an specific bias until it becomes personal, then he or she will state what they believe but will not do so in an abrupt manner. Blantant bias is where a person outright makes it clear they he or she is prejudiced. A good example of blatant bias is the Klu Klux Klan (KKK) who act unreservedly to make sure the whole world knows what they believe to be true and right chinchin
I read all ten main books, and didn't find evidence of any such bias or prejudice.
Not necessarily. Biases are natural mental shortcuts that help us navigate the world efficiently. However, biases can become problematic when they lead to unfair or discriminatory outcomes. It's important to be aware of our biases and work to minimize their negative impacts.
