He was threatened by an Emo kid named Maximum the Ryo-kun for stealing his Iceman. Waldo then sought the Orb of Darkness from his evil twin brother Odlaw only to fail for he still can not find it. Those books you read are written by Maximum the Ryo-kun to stop Waldo from finding the truth.
He is always searching for it but we the people keep him from finding it...
