Where in Minneapolis area or suburbs is a peaceful place to see sunset I am looking for somewhere preferably a lake but whatever in Minneapolis south suburbs to watch the sunset relax?

Try Lake Nikomis or Lake Calhoun. Also around Normandale Lake or Bush Lake if you really go south. Not too quiet, but Lake Minnetonka is always nice. I like sitting by the St. Croix River in Stillwater too. Any of our lakes or water areas can be peaceful if you find a nice piece of grass or beach and sit back. Lake Harriet band shell is nice too.
