The colours of the Ukrainian flag mean the following: Yellow: Yellow represents the fields of wheat that are in Ukraine. Blue: Blue represents the beautiful blue skies that float over the fields of wheat. So, it only makes sense that the yellow half is on the bottom, and the blue half is on top.
