Romance languages are spoken all throughout Western Europe, however, if you mean where the languages originate, then that is a difference story. Also, it depends on what Western Europe you are talking about. There is the Western Europe that accounts for the western half of the European continent or the Western Europe that is one of the 4 regions of Europe, as defined by the UN. However, as being as generic as possible, Western European Romance languages originate from the Western Mediterranean (for example Italian, French, Portuguese, and Spanish), or Southwestern Europe.
