It was used on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The bombs reduced the cities to flat plains with some concrete and ashes.

∙ 9y agoIt wasn't tested there. We tested them in a United States desert. We USED them on Japan to force World War 2 to end. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed, and when we threatened to drop a third (which we didn't have) on Tokyo, the emperor finally agreed to surrender.
