Matthew 6:5, 6 - And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. [NKJV]

Matthew 6:6. But please read 6:5- to see the context. This passage does not negate public prayer or corporate prayer. You should have a daily "secret" prayer time with the Lord.

What can The Bible be thought of as?

The primary purpose of the bible to make God known and specifically Jesus Christ, His son. The bible can and should be thought of as the revelation of a loving God to the people He created. He made himself known to us and continues to make himself known to us because He wants to have a relationship with us. The bible is the revelation of the person of Jesus Christ, first and foremost.

What miracle made all Jesus' words believable?

To me, there are many things that make Jesus believable. Most people believe in the miracles Jesus did, while others don't. Jesus is very believable because he is heard all around the world. He is talked about at church, school and even at school. There is even proof that Jesus is real because everything he did was recorded in the Holy Bible. I also know he is real because in all religion textbooks, they talk about people praying to him when they need his help and at the end of the story he is the problem is solved.

How do you make your friend believe in Jesus?

You can't make Anyone one believe in Jesus all u can do is witness to them. Jesus gives us free will if he wanted to make us do it believe me, he could. I know it's upsetting when someone doesn't love Jesus but show by example of his love, tell them all u can about them and hopefully they will make the right decision. Also, to prove to them that Jesus exsists, show them scriptures in the bible. Facts help a lot and the bible is an all fact book. I've helped many of my friends come to Jesus. But dont push them to believe and try not to get into arguments about it. Ask them why they don't believe and then work on that. The bible will always have an answer to show them that there is a God.
