You will find many things with the actual word winking in proverbs. I am researching about what the bible says on winking too. in Proverbs 6:13 it is talking about the wicked man , : "He winks with his eyes, he shuffles his feet, he points with his fingers." or proverbs 10:10 says " He winks his eye to devise perverse things: he purses his lips and brings about evil. there are many more verses but basically what the bible is saying is that winking can be used in perverse ways. So really i guess what is says is do not wink or flirt with your body lest you become like the wicked man and die. Hope this helped you! JOB 15:12 PROVERBS 6:30

"Stagger" in the Bible refers mainly to a drunken man. So to stagger at God's promise means, as the Bible says, to waver in your faith, and to be as a 'double minded man' and 'unstable in all your ways,' (James 1.6-8) And what happens, is that you receive nothing from the Lord.
