But as for your question your going to have look in the manual of your computer to see if you have the right slot for your adapter, the slots they go in range / vary from computer to computer depending on make, model and year. Older computers had big black slots for inserting adapters, then it became small white slots, and now they have a range of colors for in which a variety of adapters are used for a whole bunch of stuff.
